About This Shirt
With all of the great music that was brought to the world by the rocking decade of the seventies, Cheap Trick is one of the best acts that was birthed from the primordial ooze of post-psychedelic rock. Formed in Rockford, Illinois by Robin Zander, Rick Nielson, Tom Peterson, and Bun E. Carlos, Cheap Trick has rocked the world for over forty years. Their career was successful in the United States, but it skyrocketed them to a level of stardom in Japan that resulted in the nickname "American Beatles" by the Japanese press. Hits like "I Want You To Want Me," "Surrender," "Dream Police," and a great cover of Elvis's "Don't Be Cruel" launched Cheap Trick into orbit and they have yet to come back to Earth. In October of 2007, their home state of Illinois declared April 1st to be a statewide celebration known as Cheap Trick Day. Recognition from the state, national, and global community means that it is time for you to support Cheap Trick on your favorite tee shirt, baseball tee, or hooded sweatshirt with this great vintage transfer from Strange Cargo. Don't be cruel and surrender to classic rock fashion with Chicago's most rocking custom tee shirt shop, Strange Cargo.
