It was no run-of-the-mill snowstorm that descended upon the Second City; this was a snowstorm with a fury, with a wrath, with the power to cause the third largest city in the United States to shut down. Chicago became a frozen ghost town as people holed up in their homes, waiting for the white out conditions to clear. It was epic; it was a blizzard that will go down in the history books and one that our beloved Tom Skilling at WGN News will talk about every winter for years to come.
