Drinkers hit the streets and begin their pub crawls at dawn and set out on an all-day drinking excursion. The day begins at one bar and suddenly you are taking Jameson shots at O'Hagan's, you move on to Irish Car Bombs at Mullen's, suddenly you are drowning in pints of Guinness with new-found friends at John Barleycorn, you become a part of the mob that floods Clark Street and find yourself wandering in the crowd of drunken Saint Patrick's party-goers. Before you know it, your vision is blurry, your shamrock shades are askew, and you have lost most of your green beads that were draped around your neck. Soon that rousing chorus of the Cranberries' "Dreams" becomes a slurred, off-key moan and you cannot find the people you headed out to Wrigleyville with. You stumble into Clark Street, punch the #22 Clark bus, and then get into a fight.
