About This Shirt
The Chicago Bear, who?s scientific name is Ursus sanguinis ludi, is a delicate and often misunderstood creature. Its natural habitat is the grassy flatlands of Soldier Field, close to the fresh water source of Lake Michigan that supplies it with a cool breeze. It is not a shy animal and makes its presence known to its enemies by covering itself in navy, orange and white, an intimidating color combination that strikes fear into the heart of its natural predators: Packers, Vikings and Colts. These beasts that prowl the Midwest attempt to stalk and take down the mighty Chicago Bear but find the task difficult due to the Bear?s natural ferocity, grace and agility on the field, and cunning play strategy. Whereas most bears spend their time hunting salmon, doing the Care Bear Stare, or stealing pic-a-nic baskets, the Chicago Bear spends its time practicing for the great sport of football--priming players like Jay Cutler, Matt Forte and Julius Peppers to achieve a victory against the Chicago Bear?s greatest challengers. This is not your average, towering forest beast. This beast doesn?t burrow into a cave in the winter, it embraces the cold, it fights through the snow and it pushes through to victory.
